Meaningful participation benefits everybody. You can learn so much from one another, your participation can help others identify new ideas and opportunities that can shape the future of young Africans in the diaspora and improve options for Africans in the global arena.

You will have more chances to network and deliberate on fun ideas as well as serious ones impacting the Africa continent or Africans both at home and globally.

Meet new people, make new friends and experience new things

Learn new culture from different parts of Africa

Develop new tastes for foods l, games, style, music, dance etc

Feel good about having a say in decisions that affect your race

Gain a greater understanding of the needs, wishes and feelings of local African people and help protect their rights

Furthermore, by working collaboratively with other contemporary African youths, you develop services and programmes that meet real needs, rather than just the ones that are felt to be important.

Your views and experiential accounts will help make better decisions for Africa and Africans.

Working together will keep all better connected to your roots, heritage and culture , so you will have a better understanding of who you are in a rapidly changing global environment .
This will also make the world practice more inclusivity.

There are lots of different activities you can get involved and have a say in. This includes (but isn't limited to) invitations to attend workshops and meetings with decision makers in Africa ( this could be physical or remotely), speaking opportunities at events, campaigning for change and more.
